Adidas Yeezy 500 Salt is rumoured to launch this December as the fourth rendition to this controversial range. We can add yet another colorway of the adidas Yeezy 500 to the 2018 release calendar as today we give you a look at a brand new Salt pair. Whilst sneakerheads weren’t exactly convinced with the chunky aesthetic when the shoe first surfaced, many are now loving this design. Once again, Kanye West takes a detour from convention and manages to set new trends in the street-wear scene.A clean neutral hue covers the sneaker’s mixed material upper made of mesh, leather and suede overlays. While the existence of this colorway and its rumored release in November should to be taken with a grain of salt (pun intended), it looks like the YEEZY 500 model will continue to be revamped in monochromatic colorways. The shoe features a light grey colorway — very similar to the Moonrock 350s from 2015 — with the upper boasting the standard combination of suede, leather, and mesh.
This adidas Yeezy 500 ‘Salt’ Desert Rat brings a more subdued look than previous styles. The adidas Yeezy 500 Salt takes on a tonal upper as it has essentially been covered in a Triple White color scheme with an upper constructed out of cow suede, premium leather, and mesh with nubuck accents. The colourway isn’t quite white but isn’t quite grey either. That shade sits somewhere in between. Whilst it’s nothing too eye-catching, the understated theme makes these even more versatile. Rock with a pair of chunky joggers or save for the summer months when these will look bangin’ with shorts. The chunky and layered style is completed with a matching adiprene rubber sole that is designed with varying patterns which continues on to the outsole. The midsole opts for adiPRENE instead of the Boost used on Ye’s other models like the Yeezy 350 v2, and the look is completed by the 500’s standard podular outsole.
This adidas Yeezy 500 comes constructed in a mix of premium materials. adiPrene technology delivers the comfort with durable cushioning that is just as impressive as Boost.Additional features include a rubber wrap along the midsole of the foot that provides support and abrasion resistance as well as adiPRENE+ cushioning on the midsole. We’ve already seen the “Blush” and “Super Moon Yellow” versions hit the shelves alongside a “Triple Black” version, so it’s not inconceivable that we’ll be getting another colorway soon.Dubbed “Salt,” the shoe receives a Triple White color scheme with matching tonal detailing and rubber sole. As always, premium sections of furry suede compliments the lightweight mesh construct and synthetic overlays act as a mudguard to the lower half. Finally, an adidas Yeezy branded sockliner features.
